Te Tuhi Art - My Dreamhouse

This is my Dream House.  I made this at Te Tuhi.  It has a pattern made out of triangles and squares.  It was fun.

I have been learning to find and summarise information from a text.  We read two book, one about cats and one about dogs.Then we used a venn diagram to find things that were the same and things that were different. I found it tricky because it is hard. my next step is keep practising finding and summarising information.

Big Spider - Non-fiction texts

Reading Reflection

This is the Big Spider.  I have been learning about non-fiction texts.  In this activity we had to use the information from the book to label the parts of a spider on a diagram.  I found this hard because I didn;t know which place to put it in.  My next step is to keep trying and reading more non-fiction books.

Positive Social Interaction Award

Today I got a certificate.  I feel happy.  This is my eighth time I have got a certificate.

My Special Place

I was learning how to use my senses to add detail to my writing so that I can make my writing more interesting.   One thing that worked well for me was using a brainstorm to plan my work.  One thing I could do better next time is to put more details.
